Few supporters who have been part of the DFC journey will not have heard of the legendary figure, Dave Skinner.

Dave had supported Dartford since the late 1950s. He became Chairman of Supporters’ Association in 1988 and was fundamental in the rescuing and reforming of the club in 1992, when he became Chairman.

The club wouldn’t be here now without his hard work and guidance over the decades.

He was a big supporter of all levels of the club, from the youth teams, years before Princes Park, to our current Academy.

He passed away in 2024, but his memory lives on and he will remain a huge part of the club’s history forever more.
