Biography

Josh Atkinson is the eighth player to be promoted to the Dartford First Team by Ady Pennock this season.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper has impressed the Dartford boss and his coaching staff during pre-season, and has been called up as a backup to number one Jacob Marsden.

Josh has been in the Academy for a couple of seasons, after having a brief spell at the club when he was younger. His journey also saw him play for Corinthians FC’s U18s side during his first year with the Darts. His story is another testament to the success of the Academy, and he intends to bring hard work and dedication to training, as well as communication on the pitch and big saves when called upon.
