Jacob Marsden was the third player signed from Chelmsford City in summer ’24 alongside Callum Jones and Samir Carruthers.

The former Ipswich Town youngster made his FA Trophy debut with Leiston FC, before moving to Scotland to play for Hamilton Academicals. He then returned south to sign for Chelmsford City for the 2021-22 season, where he made 27 appearances in all competitions. However, he’d go on to make only 12 further appearances over the following two campaigns.

This season the shot-stopper has made a new start as the No.1 at Dartford, where his abilities between the sticks and commanding presence have been invaluable.
