The popular member of the Club’s backroom staff was called up to the Over 60s England squad for the forthcoming walking football World Nations Cup 2025.
And he put in a strong performance in a recent friendly tournament, taking Player of the Day.
Terry plays for Bexley, who recently made the headlines after winning the WFA National Cup in Nottingham. He also co-manages the U11 and U12 Dartford girls’ teams with partner Sarah Cole.
He now prepares to leave for the international tournament in Spain next week, where he will compete against the likes of Brazil, France and Japan.
The England team is sponsored by Kicking Cancer, something close to the heart of Terry who is battling prostate cancer himself. While he describes his cancer as stable, he is currently undergoing treatment.
Terry leaves on 21st October for the three-day tournament. Good luck Terry from everyone at DFC!
