DFC would like to congratulate Dartford Women after their unbeaten start to the season saw them pick up two awards.
Connor Dymond and Martin McCarthy took the London and South East Regional Women’s Football League Manager of the Month for September. Captain Xayla-Rae Alberts, meanwhile, took the Player of the Month.
A brilliant start to the season has seen the Women win all their matches in the league so far, including a 1-0 against Saltdean Utd and a 5-0 thumping of Millwall Lionesses.
On the management team, the LSERWFL said: “This duo have helped Dartford Women maintain an unstoppable run so far in the league and are still big contenders for winning the Premier division! Dartford Women have also scored a lot of goals, winning 5-0 to Millwall Lionesses in September. The hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed by these two!”
On Xayla, the league said: “Xayla has played a key part in a fine start to Dartford Women’s season so far. Xayla’s tireless work ethic and match day leadership in September has seen the skipper become a key asset to Dartford Women and also a fan favourite!
“Xayla shows that it’s not just about scoring and that work ethic plays a huge part!”
