DARTS WOMEN BATTLE PAST SALTDEAN UNITED TO REMAIN UNBEATEN!
Match Report: Dartford FC 1-0 Saltdean United
London and South East Regional Women’s Premier League, played on Sunday, 28th September 2025.
Darts Women switched their focus back to league action as they welcomed Saltdean United to Princes Park. A top-of-the-table clash between two unbeaten sides and this game had it all!
The visitors began the game on the front foot and went close early on. In the 6th minute, Saltdean forward Dani Lane saw an effort on goal come back off the post.
As the first half went on, both sides had several half chances but no real serious threats on goal. The game-changing moment came in added time of the first half. Saltdean forward Nikita Whinnett was shown a straight red card for violent conduct.
The Darts began the second half with purpose and got ahead early in the period. In the 47th minute, a fine delivery from Darts forward Leen Ekwo found Paris Smith at the back post. The Darts No.10 rose highest of all in the box to head home and put the home side in front.
The home side continued to create the better chances as the half went on and went close late in the half. In the 80th minute, Leen Ekwo found Xayla-Rae Alberts free on the edge of the box. The shot from the Darts skipper crashed against the crossbar.
The visitors continued searching for the equaliser and went close late on. In the 87th minute, Saltdean captain Georgie Bridges saw an effort on goal come back off the post.

A big three points for the Darts against the league leaders. A fine performance from the Darts in front of a packed out Princes Park. A big shout out to all the fans who came out to support us today.
