London and South East Regional Women Premier League, played on Sunday 14th, September 2025.

Darts Women headed to St Paul’s Sport Ground, home of Millwall Lionesses, looking to continue on from their fine start to the season.

The team began the game brightly and were ahead within the first few minutes. In the second minute,
a corner from Abbey Davies was headed on by Xayla-Rae Alberts into the path of Mercedes Bromfield. The Darts defender headed home from close range for the opening goal of the game.

The side continued to create the majority of opportunities in the first half and doubled their lead 11
minutes before the break. In the 34th minute, a long goal kick from Darts keeper, Jade Charlton, beat the high defensive line from Millwall to put Leen Ekwo through on goal. The Darts forward ran through on goal and fired past Millwall’s keeper to double the visitor’s lead.

The Darts then made it three before the break. In the 47th minute, Abbey Davies fired home a wonder strike from a free kick that rifled into the top corner.

The second half began, similarly to the first, as the side wrapped up the points early in the half. In
the 49th minute, a great long diagonal from Abbey Davies split the Millwall defence and put
Leen Ekwo through on goal. The Darts striker poked the ball beyond the onrushing keeper for her second goal of the game.

Darts continued to dominate the game and made it five midway through the second half. In the 72nd minute, great work from Mya Lewis-Powell down the right, ended with a cross across the box that found Lizzie Adams in space. The Darts midfielder made no mistake from close range and fired home for goal number five to seal an impressive performance from the Darts.
