THANK YOU, LEGENDS

As we look ahead to a new chapter, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our departing players: Kerys Baker, Brionne Fowle, Poppy Payne, Amy Russ, Emily Woodhouse, and three players whose long-standing commitment helped shape Dartford FC Women — Emily Vaughan, Jo Woodgates, and Emily Read.

Emily Vaughan bows out after five phenomenal seasons with 131 appearances and 94 goals. A Golden Boot winner, multiple Player of the Year awards, and always a threat up top — Em, your legacy is written into our history.

Jo Woodgates leaves after 88 appearances, bringing calm, grit, and leadership to the heart of our defence season after season. A true professional who gave everything for the badge.

Emily Read, departs after 114 appearances and 44 goals over six memorable seasons. A tireless winger and a fan favourite, Emily was known for her thunderous strikes and relentless energy. Sadly, an ACL injury during the 2023–24 season cut her campaign short. Though still in recovery, she’s chosen to take a step back from football due to ongoing injury issues. Em, your contribution on and off the pitch won’t be forgotten.

To every player — whether you gave us one season or seven — thank you for wearing the Dartford shirt with pride. All the best with everything.
