Sammie joined the Maidstone United Academy set-up at the age of 16 before joining Leicester City in 2017, quickly playing and training with the U18s, reserves and first team.
Sammie then signed a three-year deal with League Two club Colchester Utd, making his pro debut in 2020. For the 2018–19 season, he signed on loan for Maldon & Tiptree scoring eight times in 28 appearances.
Other spells since, have include Lewes and Worthing, while last season was spent at Sevenoaks, where he made more than 40 appearances.
Sammie is 25-years-old and prefers to play a holding-midfield role.
