Biography

From the Premiership to Brunei, Darts manager Adrian Pennock comes with a wealth of football knowledge and experience.

He began his football career as a defender at Norwich City, going on to play for Molde FK, AFC Bournemouth, Gillingham and Gravesend & Northfleet. He played 160 times for AFC Bournemouth and 199 times for Gillingham, captaining the side during the Division Two Play-off final at Wembley, which saw The Gills promoted to the First Division – then the second tier of English football – for the very first time.

After retiring due to a recurring knee injury, he spent two years as Welling United manager in the Conference South between 2005 and 2007 before joining Stoke City and progressing to first team coach under Tony Pulis in the Premiership. After a successful six years, he left following the departure of Pulis, taking a managerial role at Forest Green Rovers, leading them twice to record-high league finishes.

In 2017, he went on to manage Gillingham in League One and later Barrow, in the National League, before heading to Brunei to manage DPMM FC and winning the Singapore Premier League title in his first season.

He was appointed manager of Dartford FC in March 2024. In the 2024/25 season he guided the team to third place.
