Dartford FC is pleased to announce a new campaign supporting Dartford Larder – and now we are asking our supporters to come together to show what we are all about as a community football club.
More than a food bank, Dartford Larder is a community-focused initiative designed to provide practical support for individuals and families facing financial hardship, with a supermarket-style space where those in need can access essential groceries at significantly reduced costs.
Now our football community can support us in our drive to help those families that need it most.
Over the next three to four weeks, we are asking our fans to bring in essential items people in our community need the most – at what is often one of the most difficult times of year for many people.
We have a box in The Champions Bar where supporters can donate the following items:
- Tinned vegetables
- Tinned meat
- Tinned fruit
- Hot chocolate
- Coffee
- Tea
- Pasta
- Rice
- Pasta sauces
- Cereal
- Sugar
- Peanut butter
- Fruit Squash
Dartford Larder is committed to restoring dignity and empowering people to take control of their circumstances. Alongside providing food, it offers a range of cooking classes, financial guidance, and connections to local organisations that can help with employment, housing, and wellbeing. Its goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone—whether working but struggling, on benefits, or facing temporary difficulties—can find the help they need.
You can find out more by going to their website here https://www.dartfordlarder.co.uk
Please give generously and we will hand over everything collected by our amazing football community in three to four weeks time.
Let’s show what we are all about as a Club!
