Dartford Football Club is proud to announce Downton and Ali Associates as the Men’s Shirt Sleeve Sponsors for the 25/26 season.
Owner and founder Brian Downton has been a long-time supporter of the Club and a much-valued sponsor for eight years.
Downton & Ali Associates will continue to sponsor the 1888 Suite and Women’s Social Media, while their logo will now also appear on the Men’s Home and Away Shirt Sleeves.
With over 35 years in the industry, Brian set up the business in 2000, seeing him celebrating an impressive 25 years in operation this year.
Brian specialises in retirement planning, both before and at retirement, investments, mortgage advice and personal and business protection. He holds a level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and a Certificate in Insurance.
When providing financial advice, he covers Dartford and the surrounding areas, including Bexley, Bexleyheath, Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup and all South London from his two offices in Dartford and West Wickham.
Brian also takes his corporate social responsibilities very seriously, spending a great deal of his spare time fundraising for the Openwork Foundation and Holding on Letting Go who give bereavement advice to children and who he is also a trustee for. Much of his charitable fundraising takes place through a variety of cycling challenges, triathlons and even Iron Man events. He is also a regular volunteer at Dartford Parkrun and has been Run Director there over 70 times, is heavily involved in local running, cycling and Triathlon clubs and also sponsors Dartford Living Live.
DFC Associate Director for Commerce, Wayne Beckett, said: “We are delighted to announce Downton and Ali Associates as a sponsor for another season.
“Not only is Brian a massive supporter of the Club, but he works tirelessly to raise money for various charities and we are very proud to have a brilliant relationship with him and association with his business.
“We look forward to watching the partnership continue to grow.”
Brian is a well-known face to many supporters, rarely missing many matches and following the team home and away.
He misses a few of the friendlies this year as he competes in an Ironman triathlon in Northern Spain raising funds for his charities.
Brian said: “As a fan of Dartford Football Club I’m keen to support the Club. I’m also a community focussed business and the Club is very community orientated, so the partnership fits really well.
“I’m delighted to be part of their journey and looking forward to another season.”
